Switch between Notes windows on Mac

Manico moves you between Notes windows without cycling. Hold Control+Tab (⌃TAB), press n, and Manico activates Notes. When Notes has more than one window open, the window picker appears and lists them.

Choose a window with the keys 1 to 9, with the Up and Down arrows, or with Return. Windows narrower than 400 px or shorter than 200 px are hidden from the picker, so floating palettes and inspectors stay out of your way.

Windows on another Space are listed with their real titles and carry the [Fullscreen] badge when they are fullscreen. Switching to one of them keeps it fullscreen instead of throwing you back to the desktop.

The app you came from stays pinned at the top of the switcher and activates on its own after 2 seconds, so hopping out of Notes and back costs one hotkey.

The key assigned to Notes can be any single key that types a character. Manico stores it against the Notes bundle identifier, not against a window or a file path.

Manico does not hide, quit or minimise anything, does not switch browser tabs and shows no window thumbnails. It lists your Notes windows by title, numbered from 1, and puts you in the one you pick.

How it works in Manico

1. Hold Control+Tab (⌃TAB) to bring up the switcher.
2. Press n, the key assigned to Notes.
3. Pick a window with 1 to 9, with Up and Down, or with Return.

Manico stores the assignment against the Notes bundle identifier, com.apple.Notes.
